Monster Jam

Today was the Monster Jam show at the Colonial Center. It was tons of fun. We were able to go early with the pit pass and see the trucks up close. I think that they were bigger than Justin thought they would be. It was also much louder than we expected.

Funky Franks

Yesterday was a fun day for Justin. Since he is staying home with Mom and Brady on Tuesdays and Thursdays until my maternity leave is over we want to get out and do some fun stuff while we can. So yesterday we went to Frankie's Fun Park. We had a great time while Brady napped the entire time.

Two weeks old today!

I can't believe that Brady is actually two weeks old today. Time flys and I don't want to miss any of it. He is such a good baby, he actually sleeps until about 3 or 4 am before he wakes to eat and goes back to sleep for a good 3 or 4 hours. He is a good baby and a great sleeper. (Gosh I hope I didn't jinx myself).

Welcome Home Baby Brady!
Well the day finally came and Brady is now an official member of "The Gallihugh Family."
He was born January 15th 2009 at 11:58am. He is (or I should say was) 7lbs. 4ozs. he is now 6lbs. 15 ozs. The doctors all told me I was going to have this big baby and I have this little peanut. I swear I don't remember Justin ever being so tiny. Brady joined us after an intense labor but minimal pushing 25 minutes and he was here. I couldn't be happier that all my boys are now under one roof.

Amnio Day

Today was the day of my Amnio, and it was as bad as I thought it would be. It really was not as painful as I thought it was going to be but it was as scary. I almost passed out, I think just because of the anticipation. It's over with now and now I just have to wait...Please Brady be ready because we are ready for you.

Another trip from the tooth fairy!

Tooth number 2 has fallen out and this one we have. Thank Goodness. He looks so cute and his little voice sounds different because the teeth are missing in the front. We need to make sure that we remember to put the money under the pillow. Tomorrow I will post a picture.

From the Mouths of Babes

Tonight Justin said the cutest thing and god only knows how much I wish it were possible. He was saying that he was ready for baby Brady to come out now. When I told him it wasn't time yet he said "Maybe we can poof him out or wish him out". Not possible but it would be so nice. He has the right idea.

The Tooth Fairy

So we all know I have not been sleeping so at 2 am this morning I was downstairs on the computer trying to get sleepy and Justin came wandering down and wanted to check and see if the tooth fairy had come yet. So we trucked back upstairs and luckily she had come right after he had fallen asleep and he was content enough to go back to sleep.

Where is my tooth?

So today was the day of the lost tooth-literally. The tooth fell out and we really can't find it. We are pretty sure that it was swallowed, and we are not going to be looking for it. We have another tooth ready to come out, so we will just wait on that one. Take a look at what a cute smile he has now.

Part of the Family

So as much as having two dogs can be really annoying and a bunch of work, much more for my husband especially for my husband look how much a part of the family they are. Mia is Justins human blanket each night.

First Trip to South Carolina State Museum

We all took our first visit to the State Museum and we had more fun than I anticipated. I didn't know how much Justin would really like it, but he and his friend Blake had a good old time. Mom on the other hand had a hard time walking and sat almost anywhere she could find a seat. Thank god for an understanding and helpful husband. Here are a few of my favorite pics.

Preparing

You would never figure that one baby could need so much stuff. Today we finished getting everything Brady needs, I think and it's amazing that this little person could use so many things. I have to admit I feel 100% relieved that we have everything now. It's kind of nerve wracking knowing you have a bunch of stuff to get and that the baby could really come anytime. Well Brady bring it on, we are ready...

In the Home Stretch

Ok, never mention how easy your first pregnancy was because I think you just may be setting yourself up for a rough second pregnancy. This is exactly what I am going through. The beginning of the pregnany not so bad.....now is completly different story. I found out about three weeks ago that I have Gestational Diabetes and it is not easy at all. At first I was controlling it with diet and monitoring, but now I am taking insulin shots four times a day. Living with a diabetic made it easier to understand exactly what was going on, but giving up eating what you want is not easy. (Jordan, I now know what you go through!) So the newest information from the doctor is the baby will come by the end of the week, the 16th if my amniocentis comes back ok. I get that on Wensday and am really nervous, but we need to make sure Brady's lungs are developed before he comes. I am keeping my fingers crossed!
